What it means to study at Delphin Educational Center
Delphin Educational Center specializes in foreign language training in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian for all ages, as well as Bulgarian for foreigners. Since its founding in 1994, the school has developed its own highly effective methodology and standards of work that guarantee the quality of language education. Our team consists of highly qualified, experienced and motivated teachers.
We believe learning a foreign language can be easy and fun. Miracles happen and are real at Delphin Educational Center! That is why our students receive a different kind of training. With options for individual or course-based learning, offline or online, from level A1 to C1, for more than 20 years we have been teaching children, teenagers and adults to use English with full confidence. We have issued over 8,000 certificates for successful training, and many of our students have built careers in different fields.
Our long-standing practice shows that the most effective training systems are those that balance grammar and vocabulary with the development of communication skills. This builds lasting speaking habits and creates a solid knowledge base on which new, more specialized skills can be developed. With our methodology, students learn to communicate freely and easily in the new language—first in the most common everyday situations, so they can be as effective as possible when they need to use the language, and later by developing communication skills in an increasingly wide range of situations. 😍😍

Continuous quality control of learning
To ensure consistently high quality in every course, we carry out regular monitoring of teaching and achieved results. The quality-control system includes four independent components:
- analysis of language progress;
- periodic visits by the school’s methodologists;
- regular feedback through progress checks;
- interim tests, regular checks and section assessments.

At Delphin Educational Center, English is the main subject for all ages, and we also offer courses in German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian and other languages.
Cozy environment. Small groups and time for everyone. Each student is special—with specific needs and requirements. That is why training with us takes place in small groups of 6 to 10 students, and teachers can give the necessary attention to each of you. Group size is aligned with the specificity of the material and the number of hours required for successful mastery.
Summer school program
During the summer vacation we organize camps for children aged 4 to 10, where they can explore nature, do crafts and arts, sports and hiking, go on school excursions and learn from direct interaction with nature, teachers and peers.

The key to successful learning at Delphin is to start the right way! Before you begin your course, you can discuss all your specific needs and wishes with our staff so that from your very first lesson you feel you are on the first step toward achieving your goals.
How is the placement test conducted?
To take the test, you need to express your desire to study with us by phone and appear at a specified time for the test with one of our teachers. We assess not only your ability to write and read, but most importantly your ability to speak and express yourself. The test lasts about 1 hour (60 minutes).

EnquiryWHAT IS THE DIRECT METHOD?
We apply this method in speaking classes. It focuses on speaking rather than grammar/structure/rules. Of course grammar is important and is illustrated with examples, while rules are conveyed subconsciously and intuitively through tools that allow the student to connect with them in a practical way.
Our students acquire new vocabulary in an engaging way by practicing role-plays of useful everyday situations as well as more inventive ones, e.g. detective missions—both helpful for building a real sense of the language and correct pronunciation. Conversation, listening and repetition of new vocabulary with visual materials are the main focus of this method. Through it, our students develop a sense of the language much faster than with conventional methods and build a rich lexicon that can be used from the first day of the course.

They are a great way to make classes more social and communicative. Students can use the language they have already learned as a tool for collaboration on different tasks and continue learning from one another. This positive interaction builds confidence and increases motivation.
Learning in a group allows new knowledge to be absorbed and applied in an environment that is as close as possible to real life—learners can recreate everyday situations that stimulate communication and information exchange in a foreign language. Discussions, group projects and role-plays are part of the learning process.
