Spanish from Beginner to Advanced

Our Spanish course is communicatively oriented, with a balanced acquisition of the four speech skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking). You acquire grammatical and lexical knowledge in modules aligned with levels in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). We enrich the classes with information about Spanish culture, additional materials, games, and songs. A mid-term and final test are held, as well as a free entrance test for students who already have knowledge above A1.

The course is intended for beginners and covers all components of the language - reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Spanish courses at Delphin are suited for both beginners and more advanced students. If you have previous knowledge, you can learn Spanish with us at different levels. After a free placement exam and/or a short conversation, we will find the fitting level for you.

Coursebook

The aim of the series is to help you learn Spanish the same way that native speakers do - by listening and speaking first, before learning to read and write the language.

Developed for beginners, the coursebook accompanies you through listening and speaking while also supporting reading and writing. You will gain valuable insights into Spanish culture too. The units are based around authentic dialogues in Spanish and illustrate the basic structures and vocabulary in an everyday context, while exercises, activities, and explanations reinforce learning throughout the course.

Additional information on Spanish language training level A1/1 part

The course is suitable for learners who have never studied Spanish or who have minimal knowledge of the language, and who wish to take the first step toward laying a solid foundation.

The contents of a beginner Spanish program can vary depending on our schedule. However, here are some topics that are typically covered in a beginner's Spanish course:

• Spanish alphabet: pronunciation and writing basics.
• Basic vocabulary: greetings, introductions, numbers, and essential verbs.
• Grammar: nouns, adjectives, verbs, and pronouns with core conjugation rules.
• Reading and writing: common punctuation and accent marks.
• Conversation and listening comprehension in everyday contexts.
• Culture and history: an introduction to Spanish culture, geography, and traditions.
• Spanish in context: business, travel, social interactions, and academic settings.
